Lawtell here, below sea level, just like last time. Compared to the world today, underwater is such a serene place to be that I may stay awhile. The residents of this virtual aquarium come from the Pacific Northwest. My human did this painting of them at the Aquarium in New Orleans. You can see a photo below of her painting it there. There are hypnotic strawberry anemones waving in the current, exotic sea urchins and plump starfish in yummy colors. The starfish look like fat pillows lounging on the rocks. The little orange flowerlike creatures are also anemones, tiny ones.
I’ve been informed that there is a Monkeyface Eel in this painting. Roll over the painting image above to see Detective Lawtell, that’s me! Searching very carefully, I believe I have discovered it. Do you see it? Hint: look below the big anemone on the right hand side. He’s the fellow in the Where’s Waldo hat and glasses. Did you know that Waldo was actually Wally in the original English version? Love his pom pom!
And don’t you like my hat too? I’m not wild about Sherlock’s deerstalker, this is more my style. It’s in homage to the strawberry anemones here. They wave their fronds so delectably... As you know, I just LOVE strawberries!
Personally, or I should say catly, I think this jewel-colored painting would look great just about anywhere. What do you think?
Sincerely meow,
